Self-declaration accessibility website

The website michelebedin.com, managed by Microlux-NET di Bedin Michele, is committed to ensuring a fully accessible web experience for all people, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, alternative keyboards, or screen magnification software.

This statement describes the standards adopted, the features already active, and the areas currently being improved.

This document was first drafted on June 9, 2025, and updated on June 23, 2025, using an internal self-assessment method with industry-standard tools, color contrast analyzers, keyboard-only navigation techniques, and Flesch-Kincaid readability tests.

This statement will be updated based on future technical and regulatory developments.

Guidelines Adopted

To ensure the accessibility of the site, we rely on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 level AA, internationally recognized as the technical reference for designing content usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

The site was designed and developed taking into account the provisions of the European Accessibility Act, in force since June 28, 2025, which include:

• Interoperability with assistive technologies;
• Simplified use of content, forms, purchase pages, information, and digital services;
• Accessibility to services also for users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Accessibility Features Already Implemented

Currently, the site includes, among others:

• High-contrast text and readability;

• Simplified keyboard navigation;

• Labels and descriptions for screen readers;

• Alternative texts (alt tags) for images;

• Compatibility with assistive technologies;

• Compatibility with zoom mode and responsive layouts.

Areas for Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some areas of the site are currently under review to improve the user experience and achieve full compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards:

• Regular verification of text readability;

• Periodic checking of color contrasts;

• Testing with keyboard navigation;

• Checks on contact forms;

• Subtitles or transcriptions for videos embedded from third parties;

• Compatibility of PDF documents with assistive technologies;

• Improvements in ARIA semantics.

At present, the site is assessed as partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A to the UNI EN 301549:2018 (WCAG 2.1) standard and the requirements of the former Annex A DM July 5, 2005 (WCAG 2.0), due to the limitations listed above.
