The two levels of MXN-Care
A two-level service: the Maintenance base, which keeps the site updated and secure, and the Expert extension, the prepaid PowerUnit package for on-demand interventions. Expert is only activated on a site already managed with Maintenance.

What is a PowerUnit
A PowerUnit (PU) is the unit I use to measure the value of an intervention: required expertise, complexity, and tools used, not the time spent. If I solve in half an hour a problem that would take others a full day, the value for your site is the same: that's why each intervention has a defined PU value, which you know and approve before execution.
When Henry Ford challenged Charles Steinmetz's $10,000 invoice for repairing a generator with a chalk mark, the engineer detailed: making the mark, $1. Knowing where to make it, $9,999.

Indicative values of the most common interventions. Each request is quoted in PU and approved before execution, with defined scope: changes or additions requested during work are quoted separately before proceeding. Urgent requests: 50% PU surcharge. Without an active package, a single intervention costs 50 euros per PU.
Maintenance is the starting point
Every new project and every takeover of an existing site starts with MXN-Care Maintenance active, at least for the first year: this is how I guarantee updates, security, and management of premium plugins whose licenses I handle. The Expert package is an extension of Maintenance and is only activated on a site already under management.

Takeover of a site built by others: first a feasibility assessment, then any initial security hardening. I reserve the right to evaluate each case. The same applies to reactivating Maintenance after cancellation: technical verification of the site's status and any security hardening by quote, based on what has changed in the meantime.
Both packages aim for the same result: making the most of the site, with targeted support and transparent costs.

Yes, subject to feasibility assessment. First I perform an initial technical check on stability, plugins, and main risks, then any security hardening. I reserve the right not to accept sites that cannot be safely managed.
Yes. For new projects and takeovers, Maintenance is the foundation, at least for the first year: it's needed to keep the site updated and secure and to manage premium plugin licenses. This is how I guarantee continuity and accountability over time.
It's the unit I use to measure the value of an intervention: required expertise, complexity, and tools used, not the time spent. Each intervention has a fixed PU value from the price list: if I solve it in half an hour instead of three hours, nothing changes for you. PUs are divisible into half points: the smallest activities, like entering a news item from a template, are worth 0.5 PU.
Before each intervention I communicate the value in PU and start only with your approval: no surprises at completion. Recurring interventions have standard values, as in the examples on the page; the quote at the time of request always applies. After each intervention you receive the updated balance of remaining PUs.
The agreed value doesn't change: it applies to the scope defined together and the risk of overrun is mine. That's the advantage over hourly billing. If instead you request additions or changes during work, or a different and additional problem emerges compared to what was agreed, the additional part is quoted separately and I start only with your approval.
Those who expect to use more than 12 PUs over time: with the package, a PU costs 30 euros instead of the 50 for a single intervention at full price. The package is tied to services, not a subscription: the 48-month validity is an added guarantee, designed also for those with limited needs but who still want the discounted value. For rare or one-time needs, the package isn't necessary: a single intervention is paid at full price.
Yes. Agencies with an ongoing collaboration relationship work with the same PU price list and the same discounted rate as the package, without prepayment: interventions are summarized in a monthly report. The collaboration is governed by a framework agreement; the end client remains the agency's, which applies its own markup independently.
Unused PUs expire and are non-refundable, as provided in the General Terms. This is a rare scenario: 20 PUs in 4 years are used up even just with the smallest recurring activities. In any case, I notify you in advance before expiration, so you can use the remaining PUs for activities useful to the site, such as an SEO review or small improvements.
The site continues to function. Management, updates, and responsibility on my part cease. Premium plugins remain installed in the version in use, but no longer receive updates, unless you purchase the related licenses. If you have remaining Expert PowerUnits you don't lose them: they remain valid until their expiration and you can use them by reactivating Maintenance, or request a refund of the remaining value according to the General Terms. Reactivation is treated as a new takeover: technical verification of the site's status and any security hardening by quote.
During Maintenance, premium plugin and theme licenses are registered to me and made available to your site. Upon termination you can acquire them independently to continue receiving updates.
Yes. With Expert PowerUnits, support can include technical evolutions on content, new features, SEO, performance, and data tracking. Larger project-based interventions can also be managed with a dedicated quote.
